Surrounded by landscaped gardens, woodland views, and a private lawn, this rural retreat is designed to slow things down — whether you’re enjoying a drink on the deck, soaking in the hot tub, or exploring the nearby wildlife haven.

But that’s not all...

Just a short stroll from the Lodge, you’ll find our tucked-away wildlife lake, a calm, scenic spot nestled between the trees, shared exclusively between Sunridge Lodge & Sunridge Geodome guests. Here, you can listen to birdsong, watch the sun reflect across the water, or simply sit and take in the Devon air. Keep an eye out for squirrels, dragonflies, and the occasional deer crossing through the woods.

🎣 OPTIONAL FISHING PASSES AVAILABLE

For guests who enjoy a peaceful cast, we offer optional fishing passes for coarse fishing (catch & release only), which can be added during the online booking process as an extra.

While the lake is a wildlife sanctuary, limited coarse fishing is available in balance with the natural environment. Due to water temperatures, carp can only be carefully restocked (if needed) during the winter months, and we maintain a gentle, eco-conscious approach to ensure harmony with local wildlife.

In rare situations where natural activity, such as visits from local otters, affects fish presence, we may offer a refund on the fishing pass only, at our discretion. The lake is usually thriving and well-balanced, but as it’s part of a living, wildlife-rich environment, occasional disruptions can occur. We appreciate your understanding that this is entirely outside of our control. Please note: holiday bookings remain non-refundable, even if fishing conditions vary during your stay. In the unlikely event of disruption, there are also a few well-regarded day ticket fisheries nearby that keen anglers may wish to explore.

✔ Bring their own blow-up mattress if preferred. 🛏️
✔ Use an electric single airbed, which can be provided on request.
✔ Move the futon-style unfolded floor bed (provided for the 5th guest) into The Hub to free up space in the Lodge.

📅 SEASONAL PRICES & MINIMUM STAYS

✔ Weekly Rental: £1,995 – £2,495 (varies by season).
✔ Short Breaks: From £250–£300 per night (minimum 2–3 nights, ideally 3 nights on weekends).
✔ Peak Periods: Week-long stays required (school holidays, summer, etc.).

🎒 WHAT TO BRING – PACKING ESSENTIALS

✔ Personal extras. Feel free to bring additional Xbox games, Blu-rays, books or other entertainment for the immersive 5-metre cinema screen.
✔ Hot tub towels. Please bring older or larger towels specifically for hot tub use due to chlorine.
✔ Dog bedding. For pet stays, please bring pet bedding, blankets and coverings to help protect furniture and soft furnishings. 🐾
✔ Bedding & bathroom towels are included for up to 5 guests. If booking a 6th guest, please either bring your own additional bedding/towels or add the required bedding/towel extra during checkout.

🎣 FISHING PASS – OPTIONAL EXTRA

✔ Enjoy access to our peaceful wildlife lake, shared only with our Geodome guests.
✔ Fishing is a peaceful optional extra and must be booked in advance when making your booking.
✔ £25 per person for short stays (1–3 nights).
✔ £50 per person for longer breaks (4–7 nights).
✔ £75 per person for stays of 8–14 nights.
✔ These passes offer peaceful catch & release coarse fishing in a tranquil, nature-rich setting.
✔ In rare cases, natural wildlife activity (such as otter visits) may impact fish presence. While our lake is thriving and restocked seasonally when appropriate, nature is beyond our control.

Fishing tickets are non-refundable unless extreme wildlife disruption occurs, in which case we may offer a ticket refund at our discretion. Holiday bookings remain non-refundable.

🐾 PET POLICY – UP TO 2 WELL-BEHAVED DOGS WELCOME

✔ Dogs must be added via booking extras (pet fee applies).
✔ Please bring pet bedding, blankets and coverings to help protect furniture and soft furnishings.
✔ Pets are not permitted inside The Hub, our private cinema/games room located across the garden.

🕒 ARRIVAL & DEPARTURE TIMES

✔ Check-in: From 4pm onwards.
✔ Check-out: By 10am.
👉 Want to arrive early or stay a little longer? Early check-in and late checkout can be added as optional extras during booking.

🛌 SLEEPING ARRANGEMENTS – UP TO 6 GUESTS

✔ Master Bedroom: King-size bed. 🛏️
✔ Mezzanine: Two single beds. 🛏️🛏️
✔ 5th Guest: Fold-out futon/floor bed, which can be used inside the Lodge or moved into The Hub if preferred.
✔ 6th Guest: Additional sleeping space can be arranged in The Hub using the large sofa or an electric single airbed.
📌 Bedding and bathroom towels are included for up to 5 guests. If booking a 6th guest, please add the required bedding/towel extra during checkout or bring your own.

💳 PAYMENT TERMS

✔ 30% deposit required to secure your booking.
✔ Full balance due 8 weeks before arrival.
